Lyrics to song

Turn your lyrics into a finished song

Paste the words you wrote, choose a genre, mood and voice — the AI composes the melody, sings your lines and produces the track.

You already did the hard part: the words. Custom mode keeps your lyrics exactly as written and builds everything around them — melody, chords, arrangement, vocals and a cover. Every request gives you two different takes, so you can hear your song interpreted two ways before choosing a favourite.

How it works

Lyrics-to-song uses the Custom mode of the generator. You stay in control of the words and the overall style; the AI handles composition and performance.

  • Open Create and switch to Custom mode.
  • Paste your lyrics. Mark sections with tags such as [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge].
  • Add a title and describe the style in a few words — genre, tempo, instruments, voice.
  • Generate. In about a minute you get two versions with cover art in your library.

Format your lyrics for the best result

The model reads section tags as structure. A clear structure gives you a clear song: verses that tell the story, a chorus that comes back, and a bridge that changes the angle.

Keep lines singable — roughly the same length within a section, with natural stresses. Long, prose-like sentences tend to get rushed. If a word has an unusual pronunciation, spell it the way it sounds.

  • [Verse] — 4 to 8 lines that set the scene
  • [Chorus] — 2 to 4 short, repeatable lines with the main idea
  • [Bridge] — a change of perspective before the last chorus
  • [Outro] — an optional closing line

Choosing a style that fits your words

The same lyrics can become a ballad or a dance track. Think about what the words need: a confession wants space (acoustic, piano, slow R&B), a celebration wants energy (pop, funk, EDM), a story wants clarity (country, folk-leaning indie).

Describe the voice too — warm, raspy, airy, powerful — and the language. Vocals are available in 25 languages; the lyrics decide which one is sung.

What we don't do

To protect artists, you can't upload someone else's copyrighted lyrics or ask for a famous singer's voice. Real artist names and well-known song lyrics are blocked before generation, and credits are refunded if a request is rejected.

Who owns the song?

You can listen to, keep and share your songs for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial licensing — for example monetized videos, ads or streaming releases — is not offered yet. The Terms of Service explain the details.

Turn a poem into a song

A poem already has images, rhythm and a point of view, which is most of what a song needs. The main difference is repetition: listeners need a chorus to come back to, and lines short enough to sing in one breath.

Use a poem you wrote yourself or one you have the rights to. Many published poems are still under copyright, so check before you paste someone else's work.

  • Shorten long lines. Split anything you can't say in one breath into two lines of similar length.
  • Build the chorus from your strongest image. Take the line that sums up the poem and repeat it between verses, with small changes if you like.
  • Group the remaining lines into verses of four to eight lines and mark them with [Verse] and [Chorus] tags.
  • Rhyme is optional. Free verse can be sung; a steady rhythm matters more than perfect rhymes.
